- Note: Using our waste oil heater with Synthetic Oils. Synthetic oils can be burned in our heater, but cannot exceed 15% of the total oil being fed into the heater. Using a greater than 15% mixture of synthetic oils will reduce the quality of the burn and in some cases cause the heater to loose it's flame. 15% or less synthetic oil to 85% or more petroleum based oils and fluids will provide the most effective burn. NEVER ATTEMPT TO BURN GASOLINE OR OILS THAT ARE MIXED WITH/SATURATED BY GASOLINE OR ANY OTHER EXPLOSIVE AGENTS
